Real wood still has a warmth that nothing else matches. We build in pressure-treated pine, Western red cedar and hardwoods like ipe, and we seal every deck before we hand it over.
Choosing a wood
Pressure treated is the budget pick. Cedar is lighter, naturally rot resistant and smells great. Hardwood is dense, very long lasting and the most expensive. The Material lab shows how each one ages.
Upkeep
Plan to wash and restain every two to three years. We offer a yearly refinishing visit if you would rather not do it yourself.
